With International Overdose Awareness Day approaching on August 31, B. Riley House is taking time to remember, reflect, and raise awareness. 💜

In just two days, communities around the world will honor the lives lost to overdose and stand with the families, friends, and loved ones who carry their memories every day.

But awareness shouldn’t begin and end on one day.

Over the next few days, we encourage everyone to talk about overdose, learn how naloxone saves lives, challenge the stigma surrounding substance use, and remind people that recovery is possible.

Every life is worth saving. Every person deserves compassion. And no one should have to struggle alone.

Jon and the incredible team at Jon Thomas Consulting have been an important part of B. Riley’s journey through their exceptional grant writing and development work. Having the opportunity to step away from the day-to-day work and focus on the bigger picture—growth, sustainability, new opportunities, and the communities we hope to serve—was invaluable.

For more than a decade, B. Riley has continued to grow because of people who believe in our mission and are willing to help us turn vision into action.
