She is 45 years old.
In this video, she is not asking for money.
She is asking to come home.
Let that sit for a moment.
A woman who is someone’s daughter, someone’s sister, someone’s friend, and someone deeply loved by God is asking for the most basic thing every human heart needs: a place to belong.
The heartbreaking part is not only that she is unsheltered.
It is that she is asking to come home, and no door has opened yet.
This is why we do what we do.
At Will U Help, we believe our unsheltered neighbors are not problems to be ignored. They are people to be seen, heard, prayed for, and reconnected with love and dignity.
Sometimes hope starts with a message.
Sometimes healing starts with one person saying, “You still matter.”
Sometimes coming home begins with someone willing to help make the call.

This is what it looks like when a city chooses compassion instead of avoidance.
Douglasville, GA is ahead of the game in how it is responding to our unsheltered neighbors. Instead of turning its back or simply moving people from one place to another, the city has helped create a safer place where people can have shelter, storage, portable restrooms, some electricity, Wi-Fi, and a little more stability.
That may sound simple, but for someone living outside, those things are huge.
A dry place matters.
A bathroom matters.
A safe place to keep your belongings matters.
A phone charger matters.
Wi-Fi matters.
Being treated like a human being matters.
This is not the finish line. Permanent housing and long-term support are still needed. But this is a real step in the right direction.
I was blessed to spend time here and see firsthand what happens when people are met with dignity instead of judgment. These are not “problems” to be pushed away. They are people. They are our neighbors. They have names, stories, pain, hopes, and value.
At Will U Help, we believe isolation is one of the deepest wounds a person can carry. That is why we show up with message backpacks, prayer, connection, and dignity — because sometimes the first step toward hope is simply knowing someone still sees you.

Three weeks ago on Super Bowl Sunday, I was walking through downtown Washington, D.C.
It was 25 degrees outside.
I saw volunteers standing outside a church … and they invited me in.
They introduced me to a wonderful woman who told me they were hosting a Super Bowl party.
But this wasn’t about football.
It was for the unsheltered.
Instead of measuring success in touchdowns, they measured it by how many people they could get in the doors … out of the cold … into warmth, dignity, and community.
They opened their building so people could come off the streets, watch the game, eat, rest, and be seen.
They invited me to hand out Will U Help backpacks.
I will never be the same.
When you see humanity up close like that … when you see people welcomed instead of ignored … something shifts inside you.
Thank you to a church that understands the real score.
Human beings matter.
And on that Sunday, love won.
❄️ 2 DEGREES ABOVE ZERO.
Last week in Washington D.C., it wasn't just cold—it was DANGEROUS.
I saw three of my UNSHELTERED neighbors walking the streets. One was even sleeping on the frozen ground. I went into TRIAGE MODE.
THE TRUTH ABOUT TRAUMA
Why weren't they at a warming station? Because of UNBEARABLE TRAUMA.
One man was blind in one eye and was made fun of.
Another had his shoes STOLEN the last time he tried to get help & did not like being around a lot of people.
They chose the FREEZING COLD over the pain of being judged.
TWO DAYS OF FAMILY 🏨
I got them hotel rooms and for two days, we were a COMMUNITY.
We ate breakfast, lunch, and dinner together.
We shared LONG HUGS.
We talked about how JESUS has not forgotten them-even in the struggle of their lives.
THE GREATEST GIFT 🙏
The morning they went back to the streets, I asked them for a favor. I asked them to PRAY OVER ME.
And GIVE THEY DID. It was the most powerful moment of my trip.
We are teaching people that COMMUNITY can be a safe place again. That isolation is not the answer.
They had never met before this and I encouraged them to look out for one another.
