Full Out Collegiate Recruiting

Meet the newest member of the Full Out family — Laken Sooy 💫

From competing in Region 5 through high school, to continuing her gymnastics career at SUNY Brockport with the support of Full Out Collegiate Recruiting, Laken’s gymnastics journey has brought her full circle in a very special way. She competed all four years of college, served as team captain for two, and now brings that firsthand experience to the athletes and families she supports.

As a former Full Out client herself, Laken knows what it feels like to navigate the excitement, challenges, and decisions that come with finding the right collegiate fit. She understands the recruiting process not only as a gymnast, but as someone who has lived it from the athlete’s side.

Her experience extends beyond competing, too. Laken has coached gymnasts from the recreational level through Level 10, and she earned degrees in Exercise Science and Kinesiology, with minors in Spanish and Biology, from Brockport in 2025. Now, she’s pursuing her Doctor of Physical Therapy at The Ohio State University, with a passion for helping athletes navigate and recover from sports-related injuries.

Laken brings a unique combination of gymnastics experience, coaching knowledge, academic expertise, and personal recruiting experience to her role at Full Out. Most importantly, she’s passionate about helping young gymnasts find the right college experience and pursue their goals with confidence.

We are so excited to welcome you to the Full Out family, Laken, and can’t wait for our athletes and families to experience the perspective and heart you bring to the recruiting process!
