My short story “The Wait” is officially published with midnight & indigo.
It’s a story about being late, being lost and maybe being found.

I’ve admired Midnight & Indigo for how intentionally they center and celebrate the voices of Black women writers. Getting this story placed here has been on my heart for a while, and I’m proud it found its home.

We always say “when I write my memoir…” or “I gotta remember this one.”
But how often do we actually preserve our stories the way we want them to be remembered?
Not just for artists. For anybody who’s lived, loved, lost, or learned something worth passing on.
Join me for a workshop on holding onto the stories that made us, before we forget them!

Ever wanted to eavesdrop on two artists talking about craft, and the mess and magic of making?

I’m sitting down with Cherie Jones, author of *How the One-Armed Sister Sweeps Her House*, and yes, we’ll talk about the book, but it’s really a convo about being a creative in the world.

This one’s for the writers, the quiet makers, and the ones still figuring it out.
