Would you like to make a plaid shirt? Maybe a bold patterned dress? Matching the fabric’s print at the seams can seem challenging, but with a few tips and tricks, you can have perfectly matched prints and even get creative with your pattern matching to create something truly unique!

In our Advanced Cutting: Pattern Matching Class, learn how to successfully match patterns at key seam lines! You will create a kid’s basic shirt to get hands-on experience and then begin work on a tote bag where you will have the opportunity to get creative and use pattern matching as a design element.

This class is for you if you have been wanting to make clothing and textile goods with plaids and other prints or would like to add a new skill to your sewing practice!

New Class starting next week! Textile Care: How to extend the life of your textile goods

This class is about care before replacement; with the right care and maintenance, your garments and textile goods can last you a lifetime and tell your story through each mend you make. 

You will explore fiber content, construction, and care leading into sampling a variety of hand stitches and seam finishes, preparing you to take on any mend of your textile goods. You will leave this class with the knowledge and understanding of how to treat different textiles and repair based on the construction of your textile item. 

This class is for you if you are interested in learning more about fiber, textiles, textile sustainability, quality seam finishes, hand mending!
