The Movement Project
Modern Dance Company | Artistic Director Megan L. Gargano
This time next week, we’ll be taking the stage for SummerWorks 2026!✨
Our final choreographer spotlight is our 2026 LINK Resident, Angelina DiFranco , and her original duet, Living Room Practice.
Created through The Movement Project’s LINK Choreographer Residency, Living Room Practice is inspired by childhood and the memories that shape who we become. The LINK Residency, in partnership with NCCAkron, provides choreographers with the time, mentorship, and resources to develop new work while strengthening connections between the dance communities of Akron and Cleveland. We’re honored to support artists like Angelina as they bring new ideas to life.
Join us on August 1st to experience Living Room Practice alongside an evening of original works. Grab your tickets through the link in our bio. We can’t wait to share this performance with you. 🎟️🤍

Seen: CLE is a semi-annual studio showing hosted by The Movement Project that showcases works-in-progress by local, independent dance artists. The goal of Seen is to provide a platform for artistic vulnerability - there are no strict rules, no budgets, no time requirements, and no genre restrictions.
Credit for the concept and original name, “Seen”, belongs to Erin Kouwe. Seen: CLE is modeled after Seen: STL, produced by RESILIENCE Dance Company. We are grateful for their support as we bring this event to Cleveland!
Artist registration is open now until August, 8. Operating on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Choose-what-you-pay tickets can be purchased on our website.
