Some moments deserve to be celebrated in a big way. When Beola’s family shared that she was approaching her 106th birthday, our team helped create a Moment to Remember filled with love, laughter and plenty of birthday cheer. From gathering loved ones to celebrating a lifetime of memories, it was a beautiful reminder that every milestone is worth honoring.

A dad’s influence doesn’t end with a single moment. It lives on in the lessons he taught, the traditions he started, the stories he shared and the love he gave. Today, we celebrate the fathers and father figures who have helped shape families and communities. We also remember those who are no longer with us but remain present in the memories, values and moments they left behind. Whether you’re spending the day together, sharing stories or honoring someone you miss, we wish you a meaningful Father’s Day.

Today, we recognize Juneteenth, a day that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States and celebrates freedom, resilience and hope. Juneteenth reminds us of the importance of honoring every person’s story, recognizing our shared humanity and continuing to build stronger, more inclusive communities. As we reflect on this day, we celebrate the contributions, culture and enduring legacy of Black Americans whose impact continues to shape our nation.

Grief can feel overwhelming for a child, but they don’t have to face it alone. Camp Good Grief is a free day camp for children ages 6 to 13 who have experienced the death of a loved one. Through games, art, activities and connection with other children who understand, campers learn healthy ways to express their feelings, honor memories and build coping skills. Space is limited. Our volunteers participated in hands-on training designed to help them confidently support patients and families. From learning practical caregiving skills to understanding how to provide comfort and companionship, these trainings help prepare volunteers for some of life’s most meaningful moments.
