A Banner Year for Pop Up City The CUDC’s Pop Up City initiative was honored in the past twelve months with inclusion in the 13th International Architecture Exhibition at the Venice Biennale and selected to receive the Places Research Award from the Environmental Design Research Association.

The CUDC's Pop Up City initiative was selected to receive the 2013 Place Research Award by the Environmental Design Research Association. The award ceremony was attended by the CUDC's Director Terry Schwarz and Associate Director David Jurca, which was held in Providence, Rhode Island on June 1, 2013.
