2025 First Quarter Awards

The Bachman Foundation donated more than $31,000 to several nonprofit organizations and individuals during a ceremony held at the foundation’s offices on Monday, April 14.

Receiving the donations were Shenandoah Christian School, Smoky Mountain Children’s Home, the Boys & Girls Club of the Ocoee Region, as well as students Everett Aslinger and Penelope O’Rear.

Mark Frizzell, Bachman’s executive director, said the foundation has donated more than $714,000 since 2018.

The organization donates to local special education students, schools, and foundations each July, October, January and April.

The Bachman Foundation board of directors and their Executive Director attended the On Point luncheon, keynote speaker was New York Times best selling author and podcaster Annie F. Downs.
