End Buried History Days by Trick-or-Treating in the Cemetery! Hosted by Monroe Street Cemetery, guests are invited to wear costumes, explore the historic space and get treats! Event takes place Oct. 26 from 3 to 6 pm.

New to Buried History Days this year, learn more about Brookmere Cemetery with Take a Hike Walking Tours. On Sunday Oct. 26, this guided tour will explore the mid-1800s cemetery, which is home to beautiful monuments, ornate family plots, and headstones that reflect the ornamentation and symbolism of the era. Discover the stories etched in stone and how this resting place continues to connect past and present in our community. Tickets are required, $15, including hot cider, cookies and Take a Hike merch.

As part of Buried History Days Slavic Village Historical Society is a walking tour of historic Harvard Grove Cemetery on Oct. 25. This is the resting place of some of Newburgh's earliest settlers as well several Revolutionary War soldiers. Learn why its earliest burials came from another cemetery. It contains but a single mausoleum decorated with a chain motif.

THIS PROGRAM IS CANCELLED- Woodland Cemetery is hosting “Afternoon Stroll Amongst Restless Souls” as part of Buried History Days on OCt. 25 from 2 -4 pm. This 90-minute walking tour visiting the graves of many of Cleveland’s earliest prominent citizens in Woodland Cemetery, including people like Governor John Brough, Lucy Bagby Johnson and many prominent industrialists.
