Dancer Spotlight: Sophia Walker of our 2020 Virtual Dance cohort, graduated 2025 (last year) and has just finished her freshman year at Point Park University. Sophia is a BFA Dance Major with a Minor in Choreography and Creative Writting.

Sophia's Mom- Janice Walker shared this with us, "Though the (CICB) classes were online and we live in Virginia, we thank you for being one dance teacher to help nurture the love of dance in my daughters."

We are so proud of you Sophia, thank you for sharing your career updates with us. Looking forward to hearing more about your journey.

Dancer Spotlight: We are proud to announce Christa Calhoun- one of our former dancers graduated this week!

Christa was part of Cleveland Inner City Ballet programs back when we first started at First Baptist Church- she followed our programs to Collinwood Recreation Center and our home location in downtown Cleveland.

Congratulations! We are so proud of you Christa, and can't wait to see the amazing things you will continue to accomplish.

Can you guess who rode into class just in time for the Kentucky Derby? Today we explored a few ballet steps that are inspired by horses! Steps like: chasse'- gallup, and pas de chat- step of the horse and a horse prance.
