Construction Progress Update | Mid-May to Mid-June

Exciting progress continues on the new addition as several major milestones have been reached over the past month. Brick veneer and cast stone installation, synthetic slate roofing and drywall finishing have all been completed, marking significant advancements in both the exterior and interior of the building.

Work is also actively progressing on prime coat painting, metal panel installation and bathroom tile installation. With these key elements coming together, the project continues to gain momentum and move closer to the next phase of construction.

What an incredible week at Glocal Cleveland!

Over five days, students explored cultures from Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, Central & Eastern Europe, and South & Southeast Asia through music, food, art, storytelling, faith traditions and meaningful conversations with community leaders. From drumming and henna art to folkloric dance, Persian-inspired crafts, cricket and cultural cuisine, each experience deepened our understanding of the world around us.

Most importantly, they learned that connection, hospitality, and mutual understanding can bridge any difference. Thank you to everyone who shared their stories, traditions, and cultures with our students, they left inspired, grateful and more globally connected than ever.
