Last year we started to receive random emails and calls from people complaining about articles that sounded nothing like what we publish. The top offender being upset sports fans about articles on DeadSpin.

One of our developers cracked the case recently. Apparently some private equity company has been buying up magazine websites. They decided to call themselves G/O Media, as if it wasn't obvious we kinda already have that name and it is trademarked!
