He is one of the most impactful rappers/activist in the underground scene. He has a show coming up and we will be there to support so come on by and show some love! It’s going to be a great show with some a live DJing. If you’re in love with catching an old school hip hop vibe come through!!
and I kicked off a "Writes of Passage" hip-hop song writing program at Marion Sterling Elementary school. We asked who's voice I was scratching on and one said Eminem. He probably thought I was Eminem, not the voice.
Either way, we used the turntables to eminate MLK's message. "Now is the time. . . to lift our nation from the quick sands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood." - MLK
Thanks to for allowing me to use this beat to celebrate Black History Month alongside him throughout February.
And I am also proud to be celebrating alongside of the students in Refresh Collective's studio classroom at Aiken High School who are re-releasing their song, "It's Our Time." Check them out .

My brother Lee Harrill became the first full time teaching artist at , the youth non-profit I started. In 2016, he produced this song with me and two of our most beloved students at the time. . . Dee and Spooney who appearred on this celebration of how we were all feeling as Refresh Collective was reaching one of it's peaks. STAY HUMBLE. Sometimes the highest of highs come before the lowest of lows. That’s why I’ve learned to stay humble as an artist, husband, dad, curriculum developer and non-profit director. We’re all put here to love and be loved. It doesn’t matter who achieves more. That’s also why it’s vital to “give back” daily. If you or I are ahead of anyone else at any given moment of our lives, it’s half luck (or more) and privilege that got us there. I thank God for the moments in life that remind me to. . . (you already know).
