CrossFit Embolden is a fitness program in our community that allows us to work with people from all walks of life, all age ranges and all ability levels.

🔥 PROJECT MAYHEM STARTS TODAY 🔥

We’re shaking things up.

Starting this week, we’re moving away from traditional strength cycles and embracing a more classic CrossFit approach to strength and gymnastics training.

What does that mean?

✅ More variety week to week
✅ Strength that flows with the workout
✅ More exposure to different lifts and rep schemes
✅ Better class flow and athlete experience
✅ Continued focus on getting stronger

Don’t worry, we’re still squatting, deadlifting, and pressing. We’re just doing it in a way that feels more dynamic, more engaging, and more in line with the roots of CrossFit.

We’ll kick things off with benchmark 3 Rep Back Squats and 3 Rep Deadlifts before diving into this new phase of training.

On the gymnastics side, we’ll be building stronger foundations through strict pull ups, dips, core strength, body control, and skill development that benefits athletes of every level.

We’re excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait for you to experience Project Mayhem.

🎉 Happy Birthday, Coach Tammy! 🎉

Today we’re celebrating someone who has been a huge part of the Embolden family for the last 8 years!

Tammy has been one of those rare people who has been a constant through the years. She shows up, works hard, supports others, and helps make our community what it is. Over the last year, she stepped into a coaching role, and it has been incredible to watch her grow and make an impact on our athletes.

Whether she’s coaching a class, encouraging a member, or tackling a workout herself, Tammy brings joy, and a little sass, along.

We’re grateful for all she does and thankful to have her as part of the Embolden family.

This honor is long overdue!

For more than 8 years, Hanah has been a part of the Embolden family. Through school, injuries, career changes, marriage, and now motherhood, she has remained one of the most consistent faces in our gym. While we’ve loved watching her grow as an athlete, it’s been even more special to watch her grow into an incredible wife and mother.

Hanah is the definition of determined. When she sets her mind to something, she finds a way to make it happen. Her work ethic and positive attitude inspire everyone around her. No matter what season of life she’s in, she shows up ready to put in the work.

We’re grateful for the impact Hanah has had on our community and proud to celebrate her as our Athlete of the Month. Congratulations, Hanah. This recognition is well deserved! 💪❤️

🔥 DELOAD WEEK IS HERE 🔥

Before we kick off our next strength cycle, we’re taking a strategic deload week to recover, reset, and prepare for what’s next.

But don’t get the wrong idea…

Deload does NOT mean easy. 😅

This week we’ll be taking on variations of the 2026 Mayhem Classic workouts featuring:

💪 Barbell cycling
🏃 Longer conditioning pieces
🤸 Gymnastics stamina
🔥 Engine building workouts
🤝 Partner workouts

Plus, the June Burpee Challenge kicks off Wednesday with 12 minutes of burpees over the bar. Are you ready?

Use this week to focus on movement quality, smart pacing, and having fun with the community before we launch into our next training cycle.

Dena loved her family deeply.
She was looking forward to the next season of life.
Dena was strong. Not just physically, but mentally and spiritually.
She actively pursued the Lord with a genuine heart.
She lit up every room she entered, even when she wasn’t trying to.

We grieve, but we do so with hope. We know she is now with Jesus, whole and at peace.

We are so grateful for every moment we had with her.

Our prayers surround her family as they walk through the unimaginable.

Memorial Day isn’t just a long weekend.

It’s a day to pause and remember the men and women who gave their lives in service to something bigger than themselves.

We honor the fallen.
We remember their sacrifice.
We recognize the families who carry that loss every day.

For some, today is a quiet weight. For others, it’s a deep sense of gratitude. For many, it’s both.

At Embolden, we don’t take that lightly. The freedom we have to gather, to train, to build community, it exists because of their sacrifice.

Today, we remember.
Today, we honor.
And we carry that gratitude with us. 🇺🇸

Week 8 of Lift Club is here.

After two months of building strength, refining positions, and learning to move with confidence under the bar, this week is about showing off the work you’ve put in.

Heavy lifts should still look smooth, controlled, and intentional.

It’s also Murph day at CrossFit Embolden.

Now’s the time to think through pacing, partitioning, vest strategy, and recovery heading into one of the most meaningful workouts of the year.
