COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT: Station42
Station42 is a 368-unit mixed-income apartment community in Killeen, Texas, where half of the apartment homes are reserved for residents earning 80% of the area median income. The development features designer interiors and community amenities like a clubhouse, fitness center, and sparkling swimming pool.
Station42 is four miles southeast of Fort Cavazos, the largest active-duty post in the U.S. Military and home of the U.S. Army’s Armored Corp and the largest single-site employer in the state of Texas. The community is also approximately one mile north of several major big box retailers and grocers, including Walmart, HEB, Hobby Lobby, Lowe’s, Kohl’s, and the Killeen Mall.

The NRP Group, Forward Thinkers Development and Grandview Consulting are thrilled to break ground on Opal 115, a 315-unit, transit-oriented development in Mount Vernon, New York!
Apartments at Opal 115 will be reserved for households earning up to 90 percent of the Area Median Income, and is designed to attract working families and help boost the local economy. The development will feature an 8,300 square-foot basketball court, a playground, 4,800 square-feet of retail space, and a non-profit facility – all of which will be accessible for the entire neighborhood.

Laura Leduc is the Director of Project Management in the Cleveland office. She has been with The NRP Group for over 10 years, bringing nearly 30 years of experience in commercial real estate to her role. Laura's career journey has been marked by her dedication to becoming a thoughtful and passionate leader, with a background in banking, brokerage, and property management.

Watch the highlights from the grand opening of Bridge at Estancia, a 318-unit affordable housing development, created in partnership with the Housing Authority of the City of Austin. Bridge at Estancia offers easy access to downtown Austin and is part of the Estancia Hill Country master plan, a 600-acre mixed-use development.
The community features 1-4 bedroom floorplans for individuals and families and offers supportive services like after-school programming, financial literacy training, a first-time homebuyer program, English as a Second Languages courses provided by Community Housing Resource Partners.
In 2004, The NRP Group expanded its footprint to the state of Texas, opening the San Antonio office with less than 10 employees and an ambitious goal to provide more quality affordable housing across the state. The first development to break ground was Costa Biscaya, a 250-unit community in Northwest San Antonio.
Today, NRP has developed over 30,000 units statewide, spanning market-rate, workforce, and affordable housing in four major cities and numerous submarkets. With a dedicated team of over 400 A+ Players, we continue to bring our mission to life. As we celebrate our progress, our commitment to our founding mission remains unwavering. Thrive on Crawford is The NRP Group's first "Health and Housing" partnership in the state of Texas, developed in partnership with JPS Health Network. This community will bring 60 affordable and seven market rate units adjacent to a key site in JPS Health Network's expanded campus to enhance health care services for residents and provide quality housing options near a major Tarrant County employer.
"The vision was to partner with JPS Health Network to look at these non-traditional housing partnerships to understand how we can provide more than just affordable housing through additional essential services and access to health care," said Vice President of Development Max Whipple.
