Exciting progress for City of Muncie! After years of collaboration, Ball State University has begun executing a comprehensive plan to revitalize The Village, the commercial district adjacent to campus and IU Health Ball, Blackford & Jay. This transformative public-private partnership brings together city leaders and private developers, including Schahet Hotels and us, Fairmount Properties.
Anchored by Ball State’s new Performing Arts Center (a Fairmount development), the renewed Village will feature dynamic entertainment venues and spaces for living, working, innovating, and dining, establishing a vibrant district that bridges Ball State’s campus with The Village. We’re proud to be part of this exciting $150+ million project and to help create a lasting impact for the community and university!

They shared the vision on the $200+ million initiative underway, highlighted what's on the horizon, and explored the history of Fourth Avenue.
