Cleveland Burlesque

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! ❤️🇲🇽
spotlighting the boss lady!

As many of you know, Cleveland Burlesque is a Latina immigrant-owned and operated company. What people don’t always see is how much work, sacrifice, and determination it took to build a theatrical burlesque company from the ground up.

Bella has spent years building this company, creating opportunities, making costumes, producing shows, researching history, and pushing for representation in an industry where Latine voices have not always had the space they deserve.

She didn’t just build something here in Cleveland or in the state of Ohio. She has been part of pioneering this work on a much larger scale, helping put Cleveland Burlesque and Latine representation on the map.

That kind of history deserves some props. ❤️

This Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re celebrating Bella, the work she has poured into this company, and the doors she continues to open for other Latine artists and performers.

23 years of burlesque a burlesque career. 22 years of Cleveland Burlesque. And she’s still here, still creating, still researching, still fighting for representation, and still making a whole lot of noise. 🇲🇽🔥

That’s something worth celebrating. ❤️
