Let’s go!

Farmers on First at the Museum & Cultural Center at 5ive Points will be canceled on Sunday, January 25 due to hazardous weather.

We are closely monitoring the winter weather potential for this weekend. While there is still uncertainty in the forecast, the risk of ice is increasing, and even small amounts can make roads and walkways dangerous very quickly. Conditions like this can change fast, and impacts may be more serious than they appear at first.

We strongly encourage everyone to stay off the roads unless travel is absolutely necessary, prepare for the possibility of power outages, and take steps now to stay warm and safe. If you can handle something at home or wait it out, please do. During severe weather, emergency resources are stretched, response times can be affected, and keeping the 911 system available for true emergencies is critical.

Bradley County EMS crews, stations, and equipment are ready, and we will continue to adjust operations as conditions evolve. The best way the community can help is by planning ahead, limiting travel, and staying weather aware throughout the weekend.

Ice 🧊 and Snow ❄️ can lead to random power issues. Be sure to have your computer backed up, files saved, and double check you have surge protection on critical network devices. As our devices depend on power let's be sure to keep them safe when the lights flicker! 🖥️ 🔐

Stay warm and have a safe weather weekend. 🥶
