As a Network Weaver, Charles looks forward to bringing greater unity, support, and meaningful engagement to the senior residents living in the Downtown Cleveland area of Ward 8. 🏙️

He recognizes the importance of ensuring that seniors remain connected to community resources, neighborhood activities, and one another.

Through his work as a weaver, he hopes to foster a stronger sense of belonging for older adults in the ward. 🏘️

Through the Neighbor Up Network, residents organized around issues like neighborhood safety, food justice, arts and culture, and grassroots leadership development.

This report highlights the power of community-driven solutions, equitable partnerships, and local leadership to shape stronger, more connected neighborhoods.

Lytoni became a Network Weaver because she was already deeply engaged in community work. 🫱🏽‍🫲🏾

Through her nonprofit, Speak Into The Light , she leads a neighbor-to-neighbor stewardship program focused on building community resilience and workforce development. She also serves as a Garden and Active Growers Liaison for Wards 8 and 9 through the Food Sovereignty program hosted by FARE.

Becoming a Weaver allows her to deepen this work by strengthening connections, supporting residents, and helping build sustainable systems within the neighborhood. 🏘️
