COME TO OUR NEW MEMBER MEETING!!! We're also doing an awesome joint event with the rocket team, the aeronautics team, and baja sae at Thinkbox just an hour and a half after our new member meeting meeting. We will be giving a tour of our work area and you can come hang out with us and ask any questions you have. Also FREE CANDY!!! See you there!

Hey robo-friends!
The Virtual Student activities fair is 11:30-2 tomorrow! You can access all club booths through Campus Groups; stop by ours and chat with us! We will also host a Q&A session tomorrow afterward.
Our first General Body (GB) meeting will be on Saturday, August 29th at 4pm via zoom. We will focus on new members, give overviews of everything we do, talk about COVID-19 and the effects on our team, and introduce Bootcamp (our fall education program for new members)!

Hey, CWRU Class of 2024! We know this year is going to be wildly different than any of us could guess. Nonetheless, we are here for you and want you to make the most out of your college experience.
We love robots! Whether you were on a robotics team in high school or not, we would love for you to take a look at what we do and we hope to see you at the Student Activities Fair in a couple weeks!

The campus CWRUbotix Club recently competed in the annual NASA Robotic Mining Competition. The aim of the competition is to create a robot that is able to traverse an obstacle field, mine as much gravel beneath a regolith covering as possible, and return through the obstacle field to deposit the gravel into a collection bin. This year, the CWRUbotix team won 4th place for autonomy, being able to traverse the obstacle field and into the digging zone autonomously. Additionally, the team won 3rd place in the mining category for amount of gravel collected. Finally, in the virtual competition held by NASA, the team placed 3rd in the Systems Engineering Paper category.
