We are providing food to more than 800 families - and the need continues to grow as SNAP benefits did not come through in November.
Every day, more families are turning to us for support, and we're stepping up to meet that need - but we can't do it alone.
You can help by donating food, volunteering, or contributing at

Today, the May Dugan Center proudly hosted a press conference with U.S. Congresswoman Shontel Brown, Cuyahoga County, the City of Cleveland, The Cleveland Foundation, and local Elected Officials and Philanthropic Partners to announce emergency support for families who will not receive SNAP benefits in November due to the federal shutdown.
We opened our doors because this issue is deeply personal to us - every week, hundreds of families turn to May Dugan for food assistance. When benefits stop, the question we hear the most is "How am I going to feed my kids?."
We're grateful to stand alongside our partners, civic leaders, and funders to ensure no one in our community goes hungry. Together, we're making sure Cleveland takes care of its own.
