Cleveland Public Power was proud to be part of several great community events this week as we continue connecting with residents across Cleveland as your municipally owned electric utility.

At Parade the Circle, we helped turn power into art by inviting attendees to paint light switch covers, transforming an everyday household item into a unique work of art.

At Safety Day at the Zoo, kids and families had the opportunity to learn about electrical safety and why it’s important to be cautious around electricity.

CPP is proud to serve the people of Cleveland, and we look forward to seeing you throughout the summer at community events across the city. Stop by, say hello, and chat with our team—we’re always happy to connect with our neighbors!

Thank you for your patience as our crews continue working to restore power across Cleveland. Significant progress has been made, and power has already been restored to many customers.

All availible crews have been deployed throughout the city, actively investigating and repairing isolated outages to safely restore service as quickly as possible.

Reminder: Stay away from downed wires—assume they are live and call 9-1-1.

If your power is still out, please report it at: https://www.cpp.org/Power-Outages/Report-Outage

⛈️ When trees bring down power lines (like this one in North Collinwood) crews must first make the area safe before repairs can begin. Clearing debris and assessing damage takes time, but restoration is underway across our service territory.

Please be patient, stay far away from downed wires, and call 9-1-1 to report any immediate hazards. Never assume a power line is safe.

Thank you to the lineworkers, tree crews, dispatchers, and support staff working around the clock to restore power after today’s storms.

We appreciate your support as crews work to quickly and safely restore service. 👷‍♂️

The City of Cleveland has opened Cooling Centers today for anyone who needs a place to get out of the heat.

47% of a home's energy use comes from heating and cooling. Save energy by raising your thermostat when you're away or turning off your A/C when it's not needed.

CPP is proud to serve Cleveland and its residents. Connecting with our customers face-to-face is an important part of who we are. As Cleveland’s municipally owned, not-for-profit electric utility, we invest every dollar back into improving service for our community.

This week, we were happy to join the City of Cleveland - City Hall at the Community Pop-Up at Alexander Hamilton NRRC and the Cleveland Department of Aging Senior Walk at Frederick Douglass NRRC. Opportunities like these allow us to hear directly from residents, answer questions, and stay connected to the neighborhoods we serve.

Be sure to stop by and say hello if you see us at community events across Cleveland this summer!
