Pinwheel Gallery is now accepting submissions for the Winter Group Show!!!

The temperature drops. The days get short. You want nothing more than to curl up in a big puffy chair with a blanket wrapped around you, a warm beverage and...

Amazing ART to take your mind off the chill!

COZY is not a theme – but each piece will be no more than 12 inches in any dimension, so viewers will need to get “cozy” with the smaller pieces to get the full experience.

The show will run from November 20, 2026 - January 8, 2027.

Submissions will be accepted through Wednesday, September 9th at 11:59pm.

Details:
Artwork of any media is accepted. This show has size constraints – please read the description above. There is NO submission cost. Artists must be from Northeastern Ohio – Pinwheel Gallery values local art!

Artwork must be provided gallery-ready for hanging (d-rings, wired, details will be provided in the contract). Display of 3D works not hung on walls will need to be discussed with the gallery.

Each artist may submit up to 10 pieces. Not all pieces will be chosen for display.

1. Your name
2. Title of artwork(s)
3. Medium used, or media
4. Dimensions of artwork. If it has a frame, include both framed and unframed dimensions.
5. Images. PLEASE READ! Images MUST include the title of the piece in the file name. They need to be high resolution .jpg files. They must be usable by the gallery should your art be chosen (image sharing also covered in contract), so no watermarks or fancy filters applied.
6. Email must be delivered by 6pm 9/9/2026
7. Price of each piece.

Should your submission not include any of the required information in the required format, not meet the size restriction, or not be received in time, your submission will not be considered.

What is happening at The Nice Realtor HQ during the Art Hop?
An Art Reception featuring Mike Sobeck and Jon Kvassay!!
Mike is a Cleveland based artist who has specialized in the art of pizza painting. You can find his murals all over the greater Cleveland area and his paintings all throughout the country. He lives in Old Brooklyn with his girlfriend Jodi Rae, Dog Ruby 3 cats and their Baby Maeve.
Jon is an artist and designer from Los Angeles, CA, whose work stems from a love of open spaces, folklore and the unknown. In all of his creative work, Jon is most focused on space, color and scale. Creating imagery that tells a story and engages viewers brings him joy.
Jon has a BFA in Illustration from Art Center College of Design. He currently works and lives in Old Brooklyn, Ohio, where he hikes, jogs and naps with his wife Katy and dog Boomer and son Henry.

Pinwheel Gallery is proud to introduce Helena Sarah Richardson! Helena's amazing show "Chasing Carrots" opens Friday, August 7th, so come meet her in person, and see the wonderful woven works, the carrots and creatures!

Helena Sarah Richardson works primarily in painting and textile processes – interlacing strings and structures, colors and textures – to trap narratives recorded from her dreams and what she sees playing out in the world. She has exhibited nationally and in Ohio galleries. She has also been an Artist-in-Residence at the Cleveland Institute of Art and repeat Digital Weaving Lab Resident at Praxis Fiber Workshop. Originally from Cleveland Heights, Ohio, Helena earned a BFA in painting from the Maryland Institute College of Art and an MFA in Textiles from Kent State University.

What is happening at Buckland Museum during the Art Hop??

A Night of Meditations on Cosmic Sound
From 6:15 to 8:59 PM, Buckland Museum of Witchcraft and Magick will be featuring a cosmic drone for meditation inside the Museum's gallery. This music will be unbroken from start to finish, and guests can stop and listen for a few minutes or sit and listen the entire time. There are also rumors that an oracle will be on hand, giving cryptic messages to all who dare seek.
Artists: Featuring synthesizer music created by Witchbeam and Brian P. Barr, two local artists.

Art Events - Inside and Out!
Inside – An Opening Reception! Logo Creative Studio will be Featuring new works of art by Bruno Casiano in a show entitled "Something Organic"
Outside – An Art Market! In the green space outside Logo Creative Studios, three vendors will be set up, including Boricua Beauty Bloom, Marilyn Oliveras-Ortiz and Angelica – offering essential oils, soaps, art, jewelry and prints. Amelia Casiano will have original art on display and for sale. There will be giveaways and refreshments!
