Our premier site in Cimarron Bend RV Park will be available Sunday for full time occupation. This site has a large yard surrounded by trees giving the feeling of seclusion. Cimarron Bend RV Park is a small quiet park that is owner operated and back ground checks are done as well as recorded surveillance to ensure the safety and peace of mind for park residents. All of our sites include 30 and 50 amp electric service, water, sewer and unlimited high-speed internet. The park has a storm cellar and coin operated laundry. I finally made it to 4X Great Grandfather Hair Conrad's home before the removal. We were not able to go inside but walked all around it. I can't describe the feelings that are coursing through me right now. Cabin was built about 1803 where he lived for over 30 years before he led the first detachment of Cherokees on the Trail of Tears.

Please be aware of upcoming meeting with the Corp of Engineers concerning future plans for Keystone Lake and Dam. These plans will have a major impact on all of our communities and properties. Please read the proposals and be familiar and come to the meetings. The end of the notice says that if they do not hear from you in writing it is assumed that you have no objection to plans. BE THERE.

Today we are saying goodbye to over 100 years of beauty and hopefully revealing a cabin that is over 150 years old. I guess I should say we ARE revealing the cabin and hoping that it is in good enough condition to preserve it. I will post pictures of what we find.
