Team Resilient, representing Sailing Inc – Powered by Evolution Sails, continued their success with a third straight victory!⛵️
The team, consisting of Gunnison, Greg Griffin, and longtime teammate Mark Reddaway, concluded the series with a 14-point win in the Brown Jug Regatta. This victory secured their fourth consecutive South Atlantic District (SAD) Series title.

Evolution Sails customers were also well-represented on the leaderboard. Van, Zoe, and Jack Rogers won the final race to finish 4th in the regatta, earning 2nd place in the SAD series and the Bob McCormack trophy for the top woodie. Additionally, regatta chairs and supporters Adam and Peyton Ankers finished 6th, while Tanner, Wyatt, and Caroline Shultz finished 7th overall.

Despite challenging conditions with winds ranging from 0 to 10 mph from every direction, Evolution Sails won all four races of the event. Thank you for choosing Evolution!

Sailing Inc., powered by Evolutions Sails, is proud to congratulate John Polek on an outstanding collegiate sailing career.
John began his journey at the University of Rhode Island before transferring to the College of Charleston in his junior year. There, he became the #1 skipper for the offshore team and helped lead the program to an impressive list of accomplishments, including two Kennedy Cup victories, two Intercollegiate Offshore Regatta wins, two Shields Trophy titles, and many more.
What truly sets John apart is not only his success on the water, but also his character off it. He has been a tremendous ambassador for college sailing and for the sport as a whole, especially here in Charleston. In addition to competing, John has worked extensively in rigging and tuning boats throughout the Charleston area, including many boats in the J/105 fleet.
We’ve also been fortunate to have John working part-time with us at Evolution Sails over the past year.
Congratulations, John, on an incredible career. We’re excited to see what’s ahead for you!

Sailing Inc/Evolution Sail’s own Greg Griffin and Team Resilent chocked up another win and a 3-peat at the Singing River Regatta at Muscle Shoals Sailing Club.

Greg with his son Gunnison and long time teammate Mark Reddaway showed great speed and team work to top the 12 boat fleet. The winds steadily built from 5 to 12 mph out of the north in the first race to up to 18 to 20 mph from the west with big chop and planing for the 3rd race. Evolution Sails customers, AJ Pereira with crew Matt Simpson and Adam Ankers with wife and teammate Peyton finished 4th and 5th respectively.
