Huge thanks to Nico and the gang at Bear Family Records for sending me this incredible box set featuring the earliest recordings by my grandfather, Leon Beaver and his Kennedy Cowboys!
A lot of people know my father, Stan Beaver's history as a Rockabilly Hall of Famer, but it's great to see my grandfather getting his due as the Western Swing and proto-Rockabilly pioneer that he was!
Exciting hearing my track, Let's Do That Dance Again, broadcast worldwide via shortwave radio by the Review Brah aka the Voice of the Report of the Week.
