People contacted us about fraud connected to their accounts at Huntington Bank. Some are getting their money back but others, so far, have not. Huntington told us it's looking into our on-camera interview request. Santander told us that one of the victims should contact it which she has, but she is still waiting for real answers to what happened to her $98,000 that have been missing for more than a year now.

We've been following the story of Halle St. John a.k.a. children's entertainer Halle Bo Bally and her fight against Meta after the company shut her social media accounts based on false allegations. She sued the company in small claims court. The magistrate just ruled in favor of Meta largely based on the language of the terms and conditions that people sign when they create Meta accounts. Her story inspired dozens of other Meta users to reach out to us about their issues similar to Halle's problems. We attempted multiple times to interview Meta about the verdict. We didn't hear back. We got Halle's reaction to the ruling and why she wanted to win the case.

A senior citizen lost hundreds after buying gift cards that, unfortunately, had already been drained of their value of $600! Her son and daughter-in-law say they tried to get some resolution but couldn't get anywhere with the companies. So, they contacted us. After we got ahold of the companies, the elderly woman is getting her money back! Consumer experts say watch out for cards that have messed up packaging or scratches where the codes are. Those are big red flags. If you find yourself a victim of this kind of fraud, act quickly because sometimes the charges can be reversed if it's soon after the transaction. Be careful out there!

This is a guy from North Canton who just wanted some sutures redone after they came out of a wound he had. He says he called ahead of time and talked to staff in person who said they would help him. He goes into the ER exam area, and he says the doctor then told him he could NOT help. They sent him bills for a couple grand. He says there was no price transparency along the way.

A family sued O'Neill Healthcare-Fairview Park after their loved one Milka Simonoski died. A jury awarded the family $2 million, but they won't get that because of caps on dollar amounts in Ohio for cases like this. The attorney for the family commended family members for seeing this through and honoring their mother. The attorney for the nursing home says the jury found it 25% involved in what happened and 75% was on another provider. Court documents show the jury did find that the home violated Milka's Nursing Home Residents' Bill of Rights. This is the attorney Lou Schneider for the family talking to us about the case.

Crooks told an 85-year-old woman to take out $18K in cash and put it into a Westlake area Bitcoin machine. Just as she was about to do that as the scammers on the phone with her, a keen store clerk saw what was happening and helped the woman save her money. The scammers told the woman they were investigating charges for various items in her account and that she needed to use Bitcoin to help their "investigation." They also told her to lie to people who might ask what she's doing with all that cash. It almost worked but, thankfully, people stepped in to stop the potential crime. Please warn your loved ones about this! Westlake Police say these scams are happening pretty steadily.

This is one of many dangerous moments shared today after Cleveland Police released bod cam and dash cam video of a wild shooting and chase that happened on Saturday, May 23rd. When asked if the chase followed police policy, Chief Annie Todd told us she's reserving judgement until after the investigation is complete. She did call the actions of the officers "heroic" after they said 24-year-old Brian Branch shot at several officers.
