George Stage, was Chief of Engineering at Audio Recording Studios, and the Designer/Engineer of AUDIO LOGIC Consoles of Cleveland, Ohio. (He is also a great drummer!) He built consoles for many clients, including the custom SpectraSonics console in Studio A of Audio at 601 Rockwell Ave. George, seen here (in t-shirt & sideburns) keeping time. Additionally shown are many of his designs in consoles, audio-limiters, automation systems, tape machine customizations, and production tools. He engineered for Billy Sullivan's hits of the '80's, NightCoach, Alex Bevan, and many other artists. He also was cousin to Tom King of the OUTSIDERS' "Time Won't Let Me" fame. George subsequently designed for ORION RESEARCH Digital Audio Consoles, and at TELOS Alliance. He is enjoying his well deserved retirement

Saying "Goodbye" to Audio Recording Studio are Alex Bevan(Cleveland Treasure), George Stage(Audio's Director of Engineering), John Thomas(Audio Engineer) and yours truly, Reed Wheeler(Audio Engineer/TCO Editor). It was bittersweet to see our old friends again, but sad to say goodbye. Bruce Gigax is still recording at remote locations for NE Ohio's finest musicians.
