Futureland Conference

We’re talking about the story behind Creative Meetups. 🎤

As we celebrate 4 years of community, collaboration + creativity, join us for a special Founders Talk featuring Creative Meetups Founder Alysha Ellis Montgomery, moderated by Sir Evans, Founder of The Superpower Planner.

We’re going back to the beginning — why Creative Meetups was created, the need we saw in Cleveland, what four years of building community has taught us, the impact we’ve seen, and where we’re headed next.

This one is personal. This one is about the journey. And we’re talking about what it really takes to build community that lasts.

Black Tech Week was a whole vibe. ⚡️

Futureland showed up in Cincinnati to connect, build, learn, and celebrate the people shaping what’s next in tech, entrepreneurship, and innovation.

From new relationships and unexpected conversations to reconnecting with friends across the ecosystem, the week was a reminder of what happens when Black founders, creatives, investors, technologists, and ecosystem builders are in the same room.

Thank you to everyone who connected with the Futureland community throughout the week. 🟢

Cleveland showed up ready to build, share, and connect! 🚀

We joined OpenCLE, For Granted, and Sora 天 · Sushi + Asian Fusion for an inspiring AI Open Mic Night filled with innovation, creativity, and community.

From powerful presentations and real conversations to new connections across Cleveland’s growing AI ecosystem, the evening reminded us what becomes possible when curious minds come together and share what they’re building.

Thank you to our presenters, partners, and everyone who pulled up and contributed to this incredible experience.

This is what community-powered innovation looks like!
