In observance of Juneteenth, BRIDGE Recovery will be closed on Friday, June 19th.

While our office will not be open, we understand that recovery doesn't take a holiday. If you are in need of support, please refer to the resources below, including the CARES Warm Line and the Virtual All Recovery Meeting.

We encourage everyone to stay connected, reach out when support is needed, and remember that you do not have to walk your recovery journey alone.

We will resume normal business hours on Monday.

Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Juneteenth

Everyone had a wonderful time on our last Recovery Hike at High Shoals Falls. Between enjoying each other's company, enjoying the water, or getting to enjoy nature, our Recovery Hike's are a great way to spend a Sunday.

If you really want to help people at scale, start with one.

Help one justice-involved individual find a job and you’ll quickly realize it’s not as simple as just sending them to a second chance employer. There are transportation issues, housing issues, court dates, fines, child support, old environments, and a dozen other barriers most people never see.

Mentor one at-risk high school student and you’ll realize some of their daily worries are bigger than most adults’ hardest days. It’s hard to focus on graduation when you’re not sure whose house you’re sleeping at that night.

Help one person who has a job but no reliable transportation in a county with no public transit and you’ll understand how fragile employment can be for some people.

If you really want to make an impact with the population you’re trying to serve, start with one person and walk with them through the entire workforce journey — job search, transportation, housing, childcare, budgeting, all of it.

When you experience all the barriers up close, you build better programs, better partnerships, and better solutions for people at scale.

Impact is greater than intent. Always.

We are thankful to some really special donors for our ability to upgrade our peer vehicle, providing a safe and comfortable ride for our peers and recovery coaches, as always we like to thank the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities for their support while we serve our community and do what we love. If you need transportation around Cleveland and Dahlonega area, please visit our website www.bridgerecovery.org

We are super grateful for the donors of this vehicle, the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, and the countless peers that this vehicle has served in the last two years. We would like to remind everyone about our Recovery Hike this Sunday. We will be making the hike to High Shoals Falls at noon.

Join us on Sunday, June 14th at 12:00 PM for our next Recovery Hike as we explore the beautiful High Shoals Falls trail.

This hike is approximately 2.5 miles round trip and features beautiful waterfalls along with areas where you can cool off and enjoy the water.

Be sure to bring water, proper footwear, and anything else you may need for the trail. We hope to see you there.

We have a Peer looking for size 2 or 4 jeans or dark colored pants for work women’s. Or any other shorts and stuff that aren’t too short. Please reach out if you have any of that stuff. She starts her job next Tuesday.
