SIT DOWN, JOHN! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
One of the most iconic opening numbers in musical theater is coming to the stage in Cleveland, TN.

Kevin Roberts brings the fiery John Adams to life in the legendary โ€œSit Down, Johnโ€ scene from "1776 The Musical" as the Continental Congress tries and fails to silence the man who refuses to stop fighting for independence.

Itโ€™s bold.
Itโ€™s hilarious.
And itโ€™s one of the most unforgettable moments in the show.

The Founding Fathers didnโ€™t always agree! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ
The clash between John Adams and John Dickinson becomes one of the most explosive moments in the Continental Congress.

Kevin Roberts brings fiery determination to the role of John Adams, the man pushing relentlessly for independence. Standing firmly in opposition is local newscaster Greg Glover as John Dickinson, the voice urging caution and loyalty to the crown.

Their rivalry sparks sharp wit, heated debate, and yes, even a near fight on the chamber floor.

They were founding fathers, but they sometimes argued like little boys. They loved a good laugh, could be a little off color, and they were anything but boring.

Come hear the music.
Lean into the laughter.
And discover the surprising, human side of the men who shaped America.
