I want to take this time to thank our amazing panel from of model auditions. They poured life, shared tips for growth, and made sure everyone felt seen and safe. We had so much fun and I can't wait for us all to get together again!!!

And yes my panel was stacked we only bring out the best from our city.

Tip #7. Audition like it's show day
Audition like you are walking into a room with hundreds of people. Keep your energy high. Your confidence should shine. Model like you are trying to sell us your audition outfit. Come with 100% energy and blow the judges away

Tip #6 Be unique
Don't try to model like someone else. You are unique with your own style and techniques. Show them who you are. Model like you!!!

Tip # 5 Wear heels or shoes that you are comfortable in
Wear heels that you can confidently walk in. If you stumble in heels that are too high try walking in a shorter heel or slightly thicker ones.

Tip #4 Be confident
Walk in with your head held high. We all get nervous but before you step on that runway shake off the nerves and strut.

Tip #3 Show your personality
Be you. Show the judges or audience your personality. How would the garment make you feel or them feel? But always remember that you are showing off the garment as a priority. You should never draw focus away from the garment. On that runway, you and the garment should be one.

Tip #2 Don't walk to the beat walk through it

Music is there to accent the collection and the confidence of the models. It is not a baseline for your walking speed. You can be asked by your designer to give a slower pace than the beat of the music. Follow the direction that the designer or show director gives you.

Now that registration has officially closed we are so excited to see those who have registered at auditions. But we would like to share over the next 7 days 7 tips for auditioning that any model can use to stand out and crush an audition.
Tip #1 is Be on Time.
Punctuality is important it shows your drive and commitment. It also highlights your professionalism. Those who are on time are prepared for anything.
