Watching guests light up while receiving something made just for them was the best part.

This memory pillow was created from a jacket that once belonged to a remarkable woman: a state representative whose work helped bring riverboat casinos to Indiana. Now, what she wore with purpose has been transformed into something her family can hold onto, rest with, and remember her by every day.
I preserved the details that mattered most: the embroidery, the story, the feeling. Now her presence still lives on in a new way.
This is why I create.
