The Church of the Living God
Last Sunday, we were reminded of a powerful truth: the Church of the Living God is alive, thriving, and unstoppable.
As Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 1:21, God has chosen to save and speak to people through His divine plan. The Church is not man’s idea, it is God’s design. It is where He speaks to us, shapes us, and grows us.
The Bible describes the Church as both the Bride of Christ and the Body of Christ. In Acts 20:28, we are reminded that Christ purchased the Church with His own blood. Just as life flows through a physical body, spiritual life flows through the Body of Christ. When we remain connected to the Body, we receive strength, encouragement, direction, and life. But when we detach ourselves, we cut ourselves off from the very source God designed to sustain us.
Many say they love God but reject His Church. Yet how can we claim to love the Head while continually denying the Body? The Church is not a building, it is a living, breathing community of believers purchased by the blood of Jesus.
Even the devils believe there is one God (James 2:19), but God is calling us beyond belief into relationship, commitment, and participation in His Church.
No government, no culture, no opposition, and no law can stop what God is building. The Church of the Living God is not weak. It is victorious, powerful, and advancing.
If you’re looking for hope, healing, purpose, and truth, there is a place for you in the Body of Christ.
The Church of the Living God is still changing lives today.

What a tremendous day at Living Hope Parma!
Today we continued our series on The Process of a Changed Life with a message titled “The Foundation That Cannot Be Shaken.”
We were reminded that everything in this world is subject to change—circumstances, emotions, opinions, and even the culture around us. But God’s Word remains steadfast, unchanging, and trustworthy. When our lives are built upon the foundation of His Word, we can withstand the storms, trials, and uncertainties that come our way.
One of the greatest challenges facing believers today is not a lack of information, but a lack of commitment to God’s Word. The Bible is more than a book to be admired; it is a foundation to be built upon. The strength of our faith is directly connected to our relationship with His Word.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in worship today. We are grateful for every guest, every family, and every person who continues to grow with us. We are believing that God is building strong, rooted, and unshakable believers in these last days.
“If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?” (Psalm 11:3)
Build on the Word. Stand on the Word. Live by the Word.
When Doubt Creeps In
Doubt almost never begins loudly. It begins quietly, disguised as curiosity or reason. The serpent didn’t rush Eve, he drew her into a conversation. And every moment she stayed engaged, doubt grew stronger.
The enemy still works this way. He doesn’t need your agreement, only your attention. When you dwell on his suggestions long enough, they begin to feel familiar. Sin starts to feel justified. Compromise begins to look wise. And disobedience feels less dangerous than trust.
Eve didn’t fall because she lacked information. She fell because she entertained a voice that questioned God’s truth. The moment we begin debating with lies, we give them power. God’s Word was never meant to be argued with, it was meant to be trusted.
We may not stand in a physical garden, but we face daily decisions shaped by conversations, content, and inner dialogue. Every voice competing for your attention wants to shape your belief system. That’s why guarding your thoughts is not extreme, it’s necessary.
When doubt creeps in, it doesn’t always sound rebellious. Sometimes it sounds like logic. Sometimes it sounds like fear. Sometimes it sounds like your own voice. But anything that contradicts God’s Word even subtly leads you away from His peace.
Doubt disconnects us from God’s voice and opens the door to deception. But truth anchors us. The moment you stop entertaining lies and replace them with Scripture, doubt begins to lose its grip.
You don’t defeat doubt by thinking harder, you defeat it by standing firmer on what God has already said.
Question yourself:
• What thoughts have caused you to question what God has already spoken?
• Where have you given the enemy too much time or attention in your thinking?
Taking Practical Steps:
Pay attention to your inner dialogue today. When doubt arises, stop and speak Scripture aloud. Replace the lie immediately before it takes root.
I encourage you to say this prayer:
Lord, help me recognize when I’m allowing doubt to linger. Guard my mind and align my thoughts with what is true, noble, and pure. I silence the enemy’s lies and choose to think on God’s truth. Amen

A Child’s Prayer ❤️
There is something incredibly powerful about seeing a child learn to pray.
This precious moment captures a young heart reaching out to God, praying over his mom, dad, and little sister. What a beautiful reminder that faith is not just taught from the pulpit, it is cultivated in our homes and passed down from one generation to the next.
Jesus said, “Let the little children come unto me…” and we are thankful to be part of a church family where our children are learning to know God’s voice, trust His promises, and boldly pray for those they love.
May we never underestimate the power of a child’s prayer. God hears every word. ❤️
“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” — Proverbs 22:6

The Privilege and Power of Prayer
Today we were reminded of one of the greatest gifts God has given His people—the privilege of prayer.
Prayer is not just a religious duty; it is an invitation into the presence of Almighty God. The Creator of the universe desires to hear our voices, carry our burdens, and guide our lives. What an incredible privilege that we can approach Him boldly and confidently through prayer.
We also talked about the power of prayer. Prayer changes things because prayer connects us to the One who has all power. Throughout Scripture, we see prayers that opened prison doors, brought healing, defeated enemies, and transformed hearts. The same God who answered prayer then is still answering prayer today.
No matter what you’re facing, don’t underestimate the power of a praying church and a praying believer. Prayer may not always change our circumstances immediately, but it will always change us as we draw closer to God.
Thank you to everyone who joined us today at Living Hope. Let’s continue to be a church that seeks God first, believes Him for the impossible, and understands that our greatest strength is found on our knees in prayer.
