Step Forward

Family Fun Day is always a good day! 💛

Our Head Start families came together at The Children's Museum of Cleveland this week! Kids got to run, play, explore and learn, and we loved having families from all of our Early Learning Centers together in one place.

There were lots of smiles, lots of exploring and SO many cute moments. 😊 Take a look at some of the fun! 📸

Our second annual Safe Sleep Summit was a success! 💙

Families joined us for hands-on learning about safe sleep, car seat safety, water safety and infant CPR and went home with valuable resources and their choice of a free crib or Pack ’n Play!

We're so excited that our new playground at the Memphis Early Learning Center is finished! 🛝❤️

Our students have been enjoying their breaks from learning by playing on the new slides and equipment. Physical activity like this helps children build strong bodies, sharp minds, and social skills. 💪

🖍️ Meet our Carl B. Stokes Senior Site Administrator, VeElla Smoot Mays! 🖍️

After spending 12 years as a Head Start teacher and 12 years as Site Administrator, she still treasures the excitement of watching children discover new skills. As a former Head Start parent, she knows firsthand the impact our programs can have on families, and she's dedicated her career to helping others create opportunities for a brighter future.

We're so appreciative of her 24 years of service!

A HUGE thank you to the dads and father figures who walked their kiddos to Head Start this morning! 🚶‍♂️❤️ Your support and engagement made this our best Father's Walk yet.
