LoCLE Grown

Its another milestone episode for the LG team - two ways! First, our performance mixer, Jake Conder, shares how he went from a longtime Frank Turner fan to being asked to perform at Frank’s Lost Evenings Festival in Dallas, TX this year.

Second, LoCLE Grown turns seven this week, so our A/V engineer, Danna, hopped on the mic, too, and we made this episode a whole party that included ghost stories, Calvin and Hobbes, and one of our fave games right now: I GOT AUX.

Check out Jake Conder ‘s band Fruitfly 🍊🛸 with their newest single “Harder They Fall” feat. Jinari Kemet , and shoot, while you’re at it, follow Danna’s band POST SAGA , too, and catch THEIR latest single “Time is Waiting”.

7 years of LoCLE Grown 🥹

Mad love to our team members - Jake and Danna for all the time, energy, laughs, and late nights that keep us going 🫶

To the Cleveland music scene: thank you for trusting us with your stories, your music, and your time. We’re lucky to be a part of such an amazing community.

And to everyone who listens, watches, shares, shows up, recommends an artist, or has simply stuck around over the years: thank you. You’re the reason we keep doing this 🫶

Cheers to many more years of LG.

Love, The Jordans🤍

Here at LoCLE Grown, we’re on a mission to keep finding new, creative, inspiring musicians who own their uniqueness. Enter: Rey Ángel, who effortlessly balances spontaneity with intention, while always keeping things interesting.

Rey Àngel prides himself on approaching music through the lens of how people experience it, and agrees that our always-changing weather plays a weirdly significant role in not just his creative process, but also in his release strategy.

Follow Rey, check out his music, and be on the lookout for a new project in the works called “The Next Life”!

Higher Nation turned our studio into a party, showing up with not only good vibes, but also homemade muffins, merch, and the whole family!

As 4-piece group consisting of cousins, lifelong friends, and a father & son, Higher Nation has the kind of chemistry you can’t fake. With Greg’s genre-blurring beats (Gotta Get You a Greg!) and Steve, Mario, and Lil Mario’s high energy, everyone is invited to move and be unapologetically themselves when listening to their music.

Be sure to give the guys a follow, and keep your eyes out for a new single coming soon!

We’re stepping into new territory with Kyle Haunhorst, an ambassador for the Cleveland comedy scene and one of the masterminds behind the Cleveland Comedy Festival and Roast Battle Cleveland.

Kyle humors us (lol) with the basics: what makes a good room for stand up, the unspoken rules, and who’s about to blow up in Cleveland comedy. Our big takeaway: like music, comedy is performance art, fart jokes and all (Cleveland’s #4 in the nation for Roast Battle, by the way).
Catch the Cleveland Comedy Festival 9/30 to 10/3: 19 local and national acts, plus a couple Roast Battles! Grab a week pass or pick your shows, and follow both pages for the latest info!
