Dear sister, remember these words well:
Marriage does not change a man’s bad habits; it only magnifies them. What you tolerate today could become your deepest wound tomorrow.
Before saying, “I do,” look carefully at these five things.

First: A man who lacks respect
If he humiliates you, mocks you, or belittles your opinion, this is a major warning sign. Respect is the “oxygen” of marriage. Without respect, you will suffocate and may even reach the point of collapse.
1 Peter 3:7: “Likewise, you husbands, dwell with them according to knowledge, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel…”

Second: A man who cannot control his anger
Do not only look at how he behaves when everything is going well. Look at how he reacts under pressure, during conflict, and in arguments.
A person is truly known not when everything is going well, but when things fall apart. An angry man may lose control and even become violent. At that moment, what you will feel will not be love, but fear.
Proverbs 22:24: “Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man you shall not go, lest you learn his ways and get a snare to your soul.”

Third: A financially irresponsible man
Sister, a husband’s responsibility is to provide for the household. If he spends money thoughtlessly, refuses to plan, and avoids his responsibilities, after marriage you may not become his wife, but his emergency wallet.
Such a man also fails to fulfill his duties as a husband.

Fourth: A man without vision
I am not referring to money, but to direction and spiritual leadership.
“Where there is no vision, the people perish.” — Proverbs 29:18
A man who does not have God in his heart and does not act according to God’s teachings will find it difficult to lead a family.

Fifth: A man who lies
