History helps us learn who we are, but when we don’t know our own history, our power and dreams are immediately diminished. Multicultural American women specifically Black women are overlooked in most mainstream approaches to U.S. history.

The impact of women’s history might seem abstract to some, and less pressing than the immediate struggles of working women today. But to ignore the vital role that women’s dreams and accomplishments play in our own lives would be a great mistake. We draw strength and inspiration from those who came before us – and those remarkable women working among us today. They are part of our story, and a truly balanced and inclusive history recognizes how important Black women have always been in American society.

This month we will recognize the achievements of Black women in all facets of life – science, community, government, literature, art, sports, medicine – recognizing Black women in history has a huge impact on the development of self-respect and new opportunities for Black girls and young Black women.

"Racial disparities are also evident in decisions to transfer youth from juvenile to adult court. In 2017, Black youth made up 35% of delinquency cases, but over half (54%) of youth judicially transferred from juvenile court to adult court." PPI.org

In order to close the wealth gap, we must be intentional with our resources.

We will offer goods and services based on our students passions, interests and strength based skills in order for them to gain real world experience.

A social enterprise can only make change in the community with help not just from the community itself but also the allies that are willing to invest in a vision of Black youth being the leaders of the next generation‼️

Your investment will be used to host a networking night for Club ROYAL and workshop brunch for members as well as potential members.
