Did you know that the Media Forensics Hub is part of the Watt Center? Researchers with the Hub are working to protect older adults from cybercrime, online scams and disinformation, and they recently received a $5 million grant in partnership with several other universities and Clemson's Institute for Engaged Aging. Clemson to work with the University at Buffalo to help older adults recognize online scams and disinformation through $5 million-grant Clemson University alongside four universities across the nation, have formed a taskforce of researchers to create digital tools that help older adults better recognize and protect themselves from online deceptions and other forms of disinformation.
