God is so faithful to meet us in our sorrows, loss, grief and heartache. He catches every tear and our pain matters to Him, so much that Jesus died on the cross for all our pain, suffering and losses.
We are thankful, humbled and honored to walk with those navigating grief. We held our Horse Loss Grief Group Day Retreat today. It was a safe space to be real about grief in community and to share about the grief of losing a beloved horse with one another.
God gave us a break in rain for time to spend with our horses. We are also very thankful for the rain for our farm that did come!
Thank you to Andrea Eaves with Into the Light Counseling for helping us co facilitate this retreat. Thank you to Hayes Barton United Methodist Church for helping sponsor this day retreat.
Hebrews 6:19
We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inter sanctuary behind the curtain.
Jesus you are our Hope and anchor for our souls. Hold our hearts and let us see you everyday.

Thank you to Karen Currens with Unbridled Potential Equine Bodywork for giving your time and skills to pamper our boys!
Equine bodywork uses therapeutic techniques such as massage, myofascial release, and acupressure that aim to improve a horse's physical and mental health by relieving tension, enhancing flexibility, and promoting overall well-being.
Benny, Bear and Beau are feeling great❤️ 🎁 ❤️
We highly recommend Karen Currens! Please reach out and schedule time for your horse or share with your family/friends that have horses. We are grateful for this local business that supports Riverside Ranch! What a blessing and gift to us!!

It was a beautiful day for our children/ family grief group retreat! Thank you to Andrea Eaves with Into the Light Counseling for helping us co facilitate our retreat.
Thank you to Hayes Barton United Methodist Women for helping sponsor this retreat through a grant we received from them last year.
Grief, sadness, realness, asking the hard questions of faith, joy, smiles and community happened today. We had time with our horses and time in nature. God’s presence filled the property and we are so grateful for His love, guidance and comfort in all our grief.
God is close to the broken hearted and He catches every tear. ❤️🙏💔
