This is Mandy...sole chick in the band..Just wanted to say Happy Thanksgiving to all of our 5 band fans! Thank you for another great year of fun music and Fantastic times! Even though our band is coming to an end this year, stay tuned for the remaining members of the band to put together something even more awesome to debut in 2025!! Greetings friends of The 5-Band and Happy Halloween. Those of you with some years under your belt will understand the following references and just like that old Wildwood W**d all good things must come to an end.
And so, "sittin on that sack a seeds" we sadly anounce the departure of Mr Dan Stahl from the band and the subsequent closing of this chapter.
Dan is our founding father and has been the highly energetic front man of the band since it's Inception. He and Mandy were our own personal Sonny and Cher, quite literally even. We have had many a great show and been through some wonderful times together and we all wish Dan the best future as he departs the ship to go ashore and continue living his love of the Blues with "Tommy Thunderfoot and The Accelerators", be sure to continue to follow and support them.
Please try to make it out to one of our remaining shows over the next two months culminating with our farewell show on New Year's Eve at the Fainting Goat in Fuquay-Varina.
It's been a hell of a ride and we have appreciated all of you who have joined us along the way.
The rest of us in the band are reorganizing and will head out on a new adventure including the music you've come to love and some you might not expect.
