Congratulations to the members of Recruit Class 01-26 on earning their Emergency Medical Responder (EMR), Hazardous Materials Awareness (HMA), Hazardous Materials Operations (HMO), and Firefighter I (FFI) certifications!

Today we recognize Juneteenth, a day that celebrates freedom, resilience, and progress. We honor the significance of this day and its place in our nation's history.❤️💛💚🖤

District 3 crews along with Squad 1 and Battalion Chief 3 are on scene of a reported structure fire on Fieldstone Court. Upon arrival Engine 11 confirmed light smoke coming from the crawl space.

It was determined that lightning struck the home and charred the dryer vent. Crews are continuing to check for any extension.

The home was evacuated upon arrival and there are no injuries.
