Thank you to Mike of YouTube's very own Detecting NC
Who mailed me a card and two different years of his Challenge Coins. I'm looking forward to our annual metal detecting hunt this year. See you soon. Deej 💜

My summer has been filled with months of daily hospital visits as Jackson has been on two unexpected medical journeys. This week I recently had time to check my post office box. I think it's been a month since I checked it last and found this lovely card with a personal note of encouragement for Jackson & I and a very thoughtful gift from a metal detecting subscriber who knows my love of Canadian Bank Tokens! Thank you so much Maryanne Sisk Irish for thinking of Jackson & I and the awesome gifts. Sending hugs. I'm hoping someday we will finally have the privilege of meeting.

While making freezer French toast for Jackson now that I'll be going back to my house. I discovered the rare double yoked egg! That's good luck for sure!🍀!
Here's a suggestion for fellow antique dealers. I do offer some of my treasures found shopping, in my friends booth in Millington Michigan. So just a suggestion. What do you think? This display was NOWHERE NEAR A WINDOW. Deej 💜

One of the most unique dog licenses came out of the ground in really good condition surviving 41 years under ground at the Aitken Farmhouse Foundation Dig - that I have ever detected. It was shaped like the state of Michigan. A bright orange 1985 dog license. The soil there was kind to every coin and relic we dug. Deej 💜

Here is a close up photo of the 1890 IHP I dug with my Teknetics T2 SE at the Aitken Farmhouse Foundation a couple weeks ago. It was donated to the museum along with 3 new shadow boxes. Deej 💜
Just a bit of Halloween fun while shopping at one of my favorite antique shops in Michigan. Deej 💜
Use your pantry like your grocery store. Tonight's pantry meal is Chili sure to warm you up, this Autumn evening from the chill in the air! Deej 💜
