🎉 LENA Day at KKLC! 🎉

What an exciting day at Kandy Kane Learning Center!

Today we officially kicked off our LENA Grow program with our families and staff. Families had the opportunity to learn more about how everyday conversations help build strong language, literacy, and learning skills in young children.

Each participating family received a copy of The Kissing Hand 📖 and had the chance to see the LENA vest and talk pedometer device that will be used throughout the program. We loved visiting with families, answering questions, and celebrating this exciting opportunity together!

A special thank you to our families for partnering with us as we work to strengthen early language development and create meaningful learning experiences for every child.

We can’t wait to see all the amazing growth this year! 💙💚

📸 A Few Moments from Our Week at KKLC! ❤️

From hula hoop challenges and sensory play to exploring our garden with magnifying glasses, our little learners stayed busy discovering, creating, and having fun together!

We love watching children learn through play, curiosity, and hands-on experiences. Whether they’re building gross motor skills on the playground, investigating nature up close, or getting a little messy with sensory activities, every moment is an opportunity to learn and grow.

Thank you to our amazing families for allowing us to be part of these special childhood memories. 💙

As a family-owned and operated center, we know that strong communities are built by strong people.

While our family was away on a special trip this week, KKLC continued to run smoothly thanks to an incredible team and amazing families. We are so grateful for our staff who showed up each day, cared for your children, and kept everything moving seamlessly. We are also thankful for our families who trust us with their little ones and support our center every day.

It takes a village to make KKLC what it is, and this week was a wonderful reminder of that.

Thank you for allowing our family time to make memories together while helping ensure KKLC remained the loving, dependable place our children count on each day. We appreciate each and every one of you. ❤️

☀️🌱 The past two weeks at KKLC have been full of learning, laughter, and hands-on fun!

Our little gardeners have been carefully watering and caring for their plants, learning responsibility while watching their hard work grow. 🌿💧

The children have also been staying active outdoors with games, hula hoops, and plenty of sunshine-filled playtime. ☀️💚

Inside the classroom, creativity has been in full swing as our school-age friends explored sensory play and science through homemade slime activities. 🧪✨

We also celebrated some very special milestones as several of our friends wrapped up another wonderful school year. We are so proud of all they have accomplished and cannot wait to see what comes next! 🎓❤️

At KKLC, every day is filled with opportunities to learn, explore, create, and grow—and these photos are just a glimpse of the memories being made.

💙💛💚

As we wrap up our 2025–2026 Georgia Pre-K school year at Kandy Kane Learning Center, we are so thankful for the memories, growth, and sweet moments shared this year. 💛

We are incredibly proud of our Pre-K students and all they have accomplished. Watching these children learn, grow, build friendships, and prepare for Kindergarten has been such a blessing.

A special thank you to Mrs. Macy and Miss Marissa for the love, patience, and dedication they poured into our classroom each and every day. These children were truly cared for and loved well.

To all of our Pre-K graduates — keep learning, keep growing, and always remember you will forever be part of the KKLC family. 🎓

Thank you to all of our families for trusting us with your little ones this year. If KKLC has made an impact on your family, we would truly appreciate a quick Google review to help other families learn about our program. ❤️

✨ Teacher Appreciation Spotlight – Our Support Staff ✨

Today, we’re recognizing the ones who keep everything moving behind the scenes and in between the classrooms. These roles may not always be front and center, but they are absolutely essential to everything we do at KKLC.

Mrs. Norma keeps our kitchen running and our children fed each day. From preparing meals to making sure everything is ready on time, she plays a huge part in caring for our students in a way that often goes unseen—but never unappreciated.

Aubrey and Marissa are the ones who step in wherever needed. Whether it’s covering classrooms, helping during transitions, or supporting teachers throughout the day, they bring flexibility and a willingness to serve that make a real difference.

It takes a strong team to keep a school running well, and these ladies help hold everything together. We are truly thankful for their support, their teamwork, and the way they show up each day ready to help wherever they’re needed. 💛

✨ Teacher Appreciation Spotlight – Ms. Jenny ✨

Today, we’re celebrating a teacher who has truly stood the test of time at KKLC.

Ms. Jenny has been with us for over 10 years, and that kind of commitment speaks for itself. She has poured into so many children and families over the years, helping shape little lives in ways that last far beyond the classroom.

In our three-year-old room, she brings experience, structure, and a deep understanding of what these children need at this stage. She knows how to guide them through learning, routines, and those important early social skills that set the tone for everything that comes next.

We are incredibly thankful for her loyalty, her dedication, and the many years she has given to KKLC. She is truly a part of the foundation that makes this place what it is. 💛
