Almost ready to fire it off. Forged bottom end LS with ported TFS cathedral heads, Procharged with a custom intercooler and mounts, plumbing etc by the team we have here now. Ricky Cooper, myself, and Kevin Baxter have worked tirelessly to complete this project. I have to brag on these guys. The work we have performed is flawless! Ricky Cooper Kevin Baxter

I’ve been quiet on here for a while, but no more! LOL

I’m proud to announce the merger of two long time friends. Ricky Cooper from Redline performance has joined me to create the ultimate team.

I’ve changed directions on a project and I’m
Put my personal engine up for sale.

383 1pc roller block....virgin block (I looked nearly 2 years before I found a block I would build this out of) bored and honed with plates, align honed, and square decked to .005 in the hole.
S**t crank
S**t stroker 6” rods w/ 7/16 bolts
SRP 16cc dish pistons 9.8:1
Comp XE 236/242 hyd roller
Billet timing set
Engine quest vortec castings 2.02/1.6 valves, with bowl work, exhaust porting, 64cc
Erson/Scorpion rockers

Every part of this engine is new except the block.

This engine should make an easy 475hp, possibly more with an intake swap.

Buyer chooses valve covers and I’ll split the cost of them.

$5500

452 FE Ford. I don’t know how I get all the problem engines in my shop. This was built by a very reputable shop that “specializes” in FE’s. It lasted 1500 miles and had very little oil pressure. It was a mess inside to say the least. I had to machine everything over again including torque plate honing the block, align honing mains, rebalanced the assembly including the clutch setup, resized the rods, etc. I thought I was ready to assemble and....wrong. The cam would not go in the new bearings. I ended up boring the cam tunnel in the block as well. TDC wasn’t correct on the balancer either. It was 2 re****ed. The heads were equally out of shape. There was a minimum of .010 runout, and some were much worse. The valves were just as warped too, probably from pounding on a non concentric seat. Needless to say it was quite a project to correct bad machine work.

Pump gas 421.....10.4 compression Mahle pistons, S**t crank and rods, hyd. roller 242/250 .605 lift, Pro-filer heads 2.08/1.6 valves 90% throat size, cut my own angles on the seats, hand blended bowls and short side, SV2 intake. This should make a very nice street engine!

Another Viper wrapped up. 4.150 stroke billet crank, Oliver rods, custom JE pistons I designed, T&D rockers. This engine came from a reputable shop. It was a disaster! The line hone was way off, cylinders appeared to be finished without a torque plate (when I bolt one on to hone the cylinders the there were shadows), small end bushings in the rods were worn out, etc. The heads had to be completely gone through, the guides were worn out and a couple were broken off. The valve train geometry was not correct. The oil pump pickup was smashed against the pan as well. It takes so much extra time to correct problems when another shop cannot get things right!
