My pottery succulent planter has now been completed with plants. What a joy to create something beautiful to enhance my patio.

My glaze firing was a success!
Love the fun glaze on the planters.

Another afternoon glazing. Everything should be dry to fire in the kiln tomorrow. 6 mugs, 3 oil bottles, 1 large planter, 1 succulent bowl planter.

A full week ago I took a tumble inside the pottery studio. Let’s just say it was a valuable learning experience.

Spring time always brings in those gusty winds here in Oklahoma, a true test of resilience. Made a piece that is called “Oklahoma Winds”, a symbol of hope. Drying now.

The process of art pottery has its rewards and also disappointments.

No explosion to the cactus lamp piece, but there is a hairline fracture to one of the arms. ☹️

So this piece will remain with me to use in my home pottery studio.

Onto making something new…..

(8 hour firing, 8 hour cool down)
