Hi all. As much as I don’t like to do this, I’m not going to take any April orders. I’m going to spend the next few weeks before Clara is born taking care of my health and soaking up my family time. Thanks for all of your support this past year. I appreciate it more than you know ♥️ I’m hoping I’ll be able to get back to it after Clara’s birth, but we’ll take it as it comes. Thank you again!

I haven’t made bread since December, and today felt like the day. I made us an Asiago everything bagel seasoning loaf, a jalapeño everything bagel seasoning loaf, a Parmesan loaf, and a plain sourdough loaf. They’re all based off the usual intermediate sourdough recipe from that I usually use, but this time I adjusted how much whole wheat flour I use. We’ll see how we like it!

My next order date will be around Valentine’s Day! Is there anything you’d like to see me offer? Let me know in the comments.

For the holidays, I’m offering sourdough, Parker House Rolls, brioche cinnamon rolls, and Christmas crack! I will have more limited quantities of Parker House Rolls and cinnamon rolls to ensure I can adequately bake everything. Not the prettiest soup to look at, but it tastes so good! If you watched my stories awhile back where I walked you through feeding my starter, Breadsley, you know one of the things you do is discard some of the starter. One of my favorite things to make with sourdough discard is a roux for soup. This has veggie broth, extra sharp cheddar, cream, pinto and kidney beans, carrots, broccoli, cream cheese, and seasonings in it. We sometimes add rice or other leftovers we have. It’s a great meal for repurposed leftovers, and it’s toddler approved, which is a win for me!
