ALA-PIM is an all natural, all organic acne treatment and prevention system. ALA-PIM fights pimples It usually appears on the face, neck and back.
ALA-PIM (ALA) is an antioxidant that is made by the body and is found in every cell, where it helps turn glucose into energy. Antioxidants attack "free radicals," waste products created when the body turns food into energy. Free radicals cause harmful chemical reactions that can damage cells in the body, making it harder for the body to fight off infections and diseases. Acne is a type of skin di
sease occurring at the sebaceous follicles of the skin. The follicles secrete a natural substance, called sebum, and this mixes with dirt and dust. This then causes the follicles and its surrounding tissues to become inflamed. ALA-PIM fights the inflammation resulting from acne lesion on a cellular level, curing them before they develop into a more serious type of inflammatory acne (pimple). Scientists discovered the importance of ALA in the 1950s, and recognized it as an antioxidant in 1988. The body needs ALA to produce energy. It plays a crucial role in the energy-producing structures in cells. The body actually makes enough ALA for this basic function. ALA acts as an antioxidant, however, only when there is an excess of it and it is in the “free” state in the cells. There is little free ALA circulating in your body, unless you consume supplements or get it injected. ALA is a versatile antioxidant—it helps deactivate an unusually wide array of cell-damaging free radicals in many bodily systems. Other antioxidants work only in water (such as vitamin C) or fatty tissues (such as vitamin E), but ALA-PIM is both fat and water soluble. That means it can work throughout the body. Antioxidants in the body are used up as they attack free radicals, but evidence suggests ALA-PIM may help generate these other antioxidants and make them active again. In the cells of the body, ALA-PIM is changed into dihydrolipoic acid. ALA-PIM is not the same as alpha linolemic acid, which is an omega 3 fatty acid that may help heart health. There is confusion between ALA-PIM and alpha linolenic acid because both are sometimes abbreviated ALA. In Several Studies, ALA-PIM appears to help lower blood sugar levels. It's ability to kill free radicals may help people with diabetic peripheral neuropathy, who have pain, burning, itchy, tingling, and numbness in arms and legs from nerve damage.
