New law makes it illegal to falsely pose as a union rep - NW Labor Press House Bill 3789 responds to reports of misleading mailers and house visits by anti-union groups like the Freedom Foundation.

It’s a packed house today for OSEA’s first Intensive Membership Drive (IMD) Academy! These activists are learning organizing and outreach skills. They will put their skills into practice next week at chapters in the Salem area, then take them home to chapters all over the state!

Be prepared! You never know when you'll need to rely on your contract rights and union solidarity. Union membership is how you make sure they are there when you need them.

The Kathy Melzer Mini-Grant program awards members up to $400 for tuition and materials for training opportunities. Apply by Nov. 5th to be one of the recipients from your zone! Link is in our bio.
